Balloon - Nostalgic mixed reality on Quest devices

Timeline: May, 2024 - Present

Collaborating with Bob Bjarke, Tejas Shroff, and Matt Hoffman, we set out to tackle the challenge of bringing a memorable mixed reality (MR) experience to life at Meta's 2024 online Presence Platform Hackathon!

My journey with Balloon began with a shared passion to bring our concept to life. Collaborating closely with the team, I served as product manager and developer/designer, driving the product vision and uniting the team.

Early involvement in developing the Unity tech demo set the stage for our collaboration. On the design side, I created 2D content and 3D objects including ceiling lights, AI art and a handheld fan, and crafted Balloon's unique sonic identity with original sound and music recordings, optimizing the spatial audio mix.

I’m also leading ongoing publishing, marketing and analytics efforts for šŸŽˆ which yielded a 295% increase in monthly active users in July, 24’. Try Balloon here on Meta Quest devices
