Balloon - Nostalgic mixed reality on Quest devices

Collaborating with Bob Bjarke, Tejas Shroff, and Matt Hoffman, we set out to tackle the challenge of bringing a memorable mixed reality (MR) experience to life at Meta's 2024 online Presence Platform Hackathon!
My journey with Balloon began with a shared passion to bring our concept to life. Collaborating closely with the team, I served as product manager and developer/designer, driving the product vision and uniting the team.
Early involvement in developing the Unity tech demo set the stage for our collaboration. On the design side, I created 2D content and 3D objects including ceiling lights, AI art and a handheld fan, and crafted Balloon's unique sonic identity with original sound and music recordings, optimizing the spatial audio mix.
Iām also leading ongoing publishing, marketing and analytics efforts for š which yielded a 295% increase in monthly active users in July, 24ā. Try Balloon here on Meta Quest devices
